    Welcome to

    Lyng Hall School

Lyng Hall School is an incredibly special place and a community that is vibrant and welcoming: I have been overwhelmed by the positivity and enthusiasm of the whole community in the past months since my first visit in February 2025 and can say with honesty that this is a place where both young people and adults in the community can, and do, thrive. Lyng Hall School is part of the Finham Park Multi Academy Trust, which is a trust driven by the strong purpose of achieving a world-class education for all students. We firmly believe in the importance of diversity of experience in education, recognising that we are not just developing academic brains but whole young people who are going to go out into the world with only the foundations of what we and their families have taught them.

  • I would like to sincerely thank the school for the positive and caring response to my concerns. Please also convey my warm regards and sincere thanks to the other teachers for their care and support.

  • I just wanted to drop you an email on behalf of the Lord Mayor's Peace Committee. I attended the HMD event at Holy Trinity this week and I was, as were my colleagues, so impressed with your students and teachers who organised the event. I have been a Genocide and Holocaust Educator for many decades and the work which your students produced for the exhibition; the artwork and the poems and statements were excellent. Furthermore, the commemoration was very powerful and reflective. The understanding and depth of the students' knowledge could be visibly seen and heard and it was with conviction. This is as you know such an important topic that schools need to address and I feel that Lyng Hall students truly managed to navigate this difficult subject. I would also like to thank the teachers involved in assisting and nurturing the students in this project. It is because of their guidance and passion that your students are on their way to becoming outstanding leaders.
